T5 Slimming Tablets
T5 Slimming Tablets have been receiving a lot of attention in the UK recently, particularly from men and bodybuilders who are looking to burn off the excess fat and give more definition to their muscles.
If you are considering using the fat burners/appetite suppressants to aid weight loss get a leaner body then our message to you is be extremely careful!
T5 slimming tablets, or stackers as they are also known, are available under several different brands including Atom, Forza, Metabo 925 and many more.
Each brand of T5’s tend to contain very similar ingredients albeit often in different quantities. T5 slimming tablets also have several reported side effects which we will discuss later.
What are the ingredients of T5 slimming tablets?
Generally each brand of T5 contains the following ingredients:
- Ephedrine
- Caffeine
- Aspirin
- Other filler ingredients are also sometimes present
No doubt you will be familiar with both caffeine and aspirin so let us start by looking at Ephedrine.
Despite some people believing that T5’s contain amphetamine (e.g. the street drug ’speed’) this is not actually correct. However, Ephedrine is very similar to amphetamines and for this reason we advise you to use extreme caution when using T5’s.
Ephedrine has been used for many years in several Chinese herbal remedies to treat a wide variety of conditions from congestion through to asthma, however the reason for it’s inclusion in T5 slimming tablets is due to it’s reported benefit as both an appetite suppressant and fat burner.
These are obviously two very beneficial effects of ephedrine for weight loss if the reported benefits are true.
Caffeine is usually included to give you an energy boost since if you are eating less due to the appetite suppressing effects you may need the extra energy to workout.
As for why Aspirin is included, to be honest we are not sure as none of the manufacturers we have seen have ever given a reason and so we treat this with some skepticism.
What are the side effects of T5 stackers?
There are several reported side effects of T5 slimming tablets. The most common include:
- Increased body temperature
- Increased heart rate
- Shakiness
- Sweating
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Muscle wastage
The majority of the side effects listed above are thought to be caused by the caffeine and so we suggest that if you have ever experienced these side effects from caffeine before that you do not take T5’s.
Perhaps the most worrying side effect on that list is the muscle wastage, afterall the main reason you are likely to take T5 slimming tablets is to give better definition to your muscles. However, there are some brands that claim to have changed their blend to remove this from their side effects list – how true this is cannot be verified.
Some of the less common side-effects that have been linked with Ephedrine include:
- Acne
- Anorexia
- Increased urination
- Difficulty urinating
- Restlessness
- Confusion
- Insomnia
- Panic
- Delusions
It should also be said that an overdose of Ephedrine can be lethal so it is absolutely vital that you only consume the recommended dosage and keep pills out of the reach of children.
Do T5 slimming tablets work?
Well, this is a question that is very difficult to answer. Certainly we have never seen any concrete evidence to show that they do work and there have been no clinical trials on their effectiveness that we have seen.
However, when you search the Internet for T5 slimming tablets you will find quite a few people claiming they do work, but then there are probably just as many (if not more) saying they do not and to stay away from them.
The one major thing that worries us is that there appears to be a lack of quality sellers of the supplement. The stores that are selling it are poorly designed and do not look professional or trustworthy. Of course a poorly designed website does not indicate an unethical seller but it does not fill you with confidence either.
In fact, reliable sellers are so few and far between that most people have to resort to buying from sellers listed on eBay – not a great way to have to purchase a potentially dangerous slimming tablet.
Overall we think that there are too many potential side effects linked to T5 slimming tablets, not enough reputable sellers, and quite frankly better alternatives available that achieve the same (or better) results without the risks. Any supplement that is so similar to an illegal drug is one to be avoided as far as we are concerned.
What alternatives are there?
As we mentioned, there are better alternatives available to T5 slimming tablets that come without the associated side effects and with more evidence of their effectiveness.
First of all there is Proactol, a clinically proven fat binder. Like T5’s, Proactol has both the ability to reduce your fat and help you eat less, in fact clinical trials have shown that Proactol can help to remove as much as 28% of the fat you consume in a meal.
It does this by binding with the fats in your stomach and therefore preventing them from being absorbed by your body, instead they pass through quite naturally.
Both men and women have seen excellent results from Proactol and because it is 100% natural and organic it does not have any known side-effects linked to it.
Furthermore, the manufacturers are UK based with a solid reputation and you also get a full money-back guarantee with your order.

The other alternative does not offer any fat burning or binding benefits but it is a good choice if you were considering T5 slimming tablets primarily for their appetite suppressing qualities.
UniqueHoodia is a 100% pure hoodia product that, like Proactol, has no known side effects because it is entirely natural and also includes a money-back guarantee.
Clinical trials have shown that the hoodia (a South American cactus plant) is able to suppress your appetite and prevent you from snacking between meals as well as consuming less when you do eat.
For this reason it offers a safe alternative to T5 slimming tablets and again, has been shown to work for both men and women alike.

We would strongly advise you to think twice before using T5 slimming tablets as they have no evidence of their effectiveness, have a long list of reported side-effects, and little is known about their long term effects.
A safer bet would be to opt for one of our alternative products, although if you are still struggling to decide which is best for you, you can take our slimming tablet quiz to find out.
If you do decide to go ahead and try out T5 stackers then our main advice would be to thoroughly do your research and only buy from reputable sellers.
