Weight Loss Capsules
In this modern world we have a whole host of different pills and potions available for any range of health problems. From drinks to improve your digestion through to pills to reduce excess weight – the choices are virtually endless.
One of these ‘magic’ medicines that has been receiving a lot of attention lately are the weight loss capsules.
These have been touted in the media as anything from ineffective (and possibly dangerous) sawdust pills through to an absolute proven miracle cure to aid weight loss.
With all of these differing opinions on weight loss capsules it can be difficult to know what is really effective and what is not. However, before we can look at that we need to decide what a weight loss capsule actually is (hint – it is not the same as a space capsule
).
What is a weight loss capsule?
Well, by definition a capsule (when referring to medicine) is a small plastic like container, usually two parts stuck together, containing a quantity of powder inside. Of course it is not actually plastic even though it can look and feel that way, rather it is made of gelatin or vegetarian friendly ingredients.
The idea behind the capsule is that once it has been swallowed it will quickly dissolve in the acid of the stomach, leaving the powder inside to do its intended job. This is perfectly safe and has been used for decades as one of the primary ways for selling medicine.
Capsules are often referred to as pills or tablets, although this is correct in many ways it is not strictly true. A pill or tablet is a medicine that has been compressed in to one small pellet. These can sometimes be sugar coated for taste but generally only contain the active ingredient.
Therefore, now we have clarified what a capsule is it should be fairly obvious that a weight loss capsule refers to a capsule that contains ingredients that help you to lose weight.
What is better a tablet or a capsule?
The answer to this question depends totally on your own opinion and viewpoint. Most people do not have a preference either way as ultimately both do the same job with similar levels of effectiveness.
However, some people prefer tablets simply because they are often smaller and easier to swallow. Others prefer capsules because they do not leave a bad taste in your mouth and usually contain less filler ingredients since nothing is needed to bind the ingredients together.
Ultimately a weight loss tablet or a weight loss capsule will do the same job, it is the ingredients inside that count.
What are the best weight loss capsules?
Two of the three main weight loss supplements that we recommend are sold in capsule form with the other being a tablet.
The first weight loss capsule we recommend is UniqueHoodia which uses a gelatin capsule to contain 460mg of Hoodia Gordonii – a South African cactus plant said to help suppress your appetite.
You can read more about this product by reading our UniqueHoodia review.
The second weight loss capsule we can recommend is called Proactol. This one contains a mixture of natural ingredients that have been clinically proven to bind up to 28% of the fat in your diet, thus helping you to lose weight. Proactol uses vegetarian friendly capsules – you can read more about it in our Proactol review.
If after reading the article you have decided that a weight loss capsule is not for you and a tablet would suit you better then our alternative choice Zotrim is a weight loss tablet that could be right for you. You can read our zotrim review before deciding.
