Adios tablets overview

Adios is a weight loss tablet that is sold in a range of high-street stores and online pharmacies. It is available in two forms, the standard Adios tablets or the more powerful Adios Max tablets.

The active ingredient is 120mg dry extract of a herb called Fucus which is said to be the equivelent of 600mg of fresh Fucus. Focus is actually in the same family as brown algae and is a seaweed type plant found along the shore of many coasts around the world.

It is said to help to speed up your metabolism to help your body turn fat in to energy faster, therefore aiding weight loss. However there is no clinical evidence to back this up and it is recommended that you only take Adios tablets as part of a healthy diet.

How does Adios work?

Quite simply Adios is a metabolism booster which, in laymans terms, means that it speeds up the rate at which your body processes food and fat.

The claim is that Adios tablets, and more specifically the active ingredient Fucus, speed up the rate at which your body turns fat in to energy. This means that even when you eat a meal that is high in fat, a lot of the fat will be burnt off before it can be absorbed by your body.

Now the thing with this is that you still need to be doing some sort of exercise to see the benefits. In fact, if you check the box for Adios and Adios Max you will see that they recommend the tablets are only taken as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.

If we are honest we know that if you have a healthy diet and lifestyle then you will probably find you can achieve weight loss without the help of Adios tablets.

Will Adios work for you?

Alternative to AlliRemember, Adios is only thought to be effective when you combine it with a healthy lifestyle and diet.

This means if you are struggling to eat the right things or are not getting a great deal of exercise then you may find Adios does little to help you lose weight.

Instead your may find that a fat binder such as Proactol Plus, or an appetite suppressant such as African Mango is a better choice for you.

However, if you do believe you have a healthy diet and get some form of regular exercises and still find losing weight a challenge then it might be worth you giving Adios a try. It is available from various high-street stores as well as the Boots website.

Are Adios tablets safe for you to use?

Yes, there are no known side effects of Adios.

However, there are certain times when you should not take Adios weight loss pills.

Do NOT take Adios tablets if:

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are under the age of 16
  • You have a thyroid disorder
  • You are allergic to Fucus
  • You have a lactose intolerance (speak with your doctor first)

If you fall in to any of these categories then it is advised that you do not take Adios. Instead you should look for a personal recommendation by taking our slimming tablet quiz.

Adios Tablet Review Summary

The Adios TV advert shows a woman waking up full of energy and walking down the street still in her nightwear. This could be a bit misleading since it suggests that Adios works like Zotrim and boosts your energy levels.

However it does not boost your energy levels so you should be careful not to assume that. Instead it works by speeding up your metabolism so that you burn fat more quickly. Still, you will need to be on a calorie controlled calorie to get any real benefit out of Adios tablets.

As we always say, the same pill never works for everyone so it is important to look at your own lifestyle and decide which slimming tablet is right for you.

Remember, there are perfectly good alternatives to Adios and Adios Max. Proactol Plus being one of them. If you decide that Adios tablets are the best choice for you then make sure you stick to a healthy diet and lifestyle to get the best results.
